About

Most cars on the road are nearly empty.

BigiBigi exists to change that one seat at a time — by making it easy, and safe, for people going the same way to go together.

Why we built it

Thousands of people drive the same intercity routes every day, alone, while others on the same route wait for a bus. The seats are there. What is missing is a way to trust the person sitting in them.

So we started with trust rather than with matching. Identity verification, visible ratings, a seat layout you can see before you book, women-only seats, live ride sharing and a direct route to report a problem — all of it in the product from the first version, not added later as a response to something going wrong.

And we kept one rule at the centre: this is cost sharing, not a taxi business. Riders recover a share of what a trip costs them. Nobody is driving for profit.

Trust before convenience

If a check is missing, we say so on the profile. A blank space is information too.

Sharing, not selling

Trips are journeys someone was making anyway. Commercial rides are not allowed.

Built for our roads

Designed for the routes, languages and travel habits of the places we serve.
